FILM PHOTOGRAPHY

My first year of high school I took a photography class and learned on 35mm black and white film. When I entered college I got a DSLR and stayed in the digital world until 2023 when I bought a Canonet QL17 while visiting Japan.

To me, taking pictures with a film camera allows me to slow down and consider more intentionally the picture I am about to take as well as not being too focused on taking the picture the right way so much that I am taken away from what I am doing. These are a few of my favorites over the years.
