LLAMA NATION: THE DOCUMENTARY

Filming for this documentary took 30 shoot days over the space of nine months. This involved traveling to eight different states following the stories of six different people.

At the end of filming I faced the challenge of how to tell a cohesive story with six very different people who only had one thing in common, their love of llamas. Together with the director I began to go through the interviews and emerged with a story that is able to go between these six stories and in the end leave the viewer with a better understanding of the world of llamas.

Llama Nation went on to win best documentary at the 2016 Utah Film Festival and 2016 Omaha Film Festival
